Mount Gonfalone dominates the landscape, overlooking Frosolone and numerous villages and fortresses in the Biferno Valley, including Duronia, Molise, Campobasso, and Baranello. On clear days, you can see the Adriatic Sea. Accessible by car on a dirt road, except for the last 200 meters, which must be done on foot. Adjacent to the chapel is the Addolorata, and there is a sheltered shelter with tables for short picnics.

From the road, the path runs alongside the Fonte di S. Onofrio and in about 20 minutes you reach the cliff.
