Altair Trail
Created in 2010 by the Frosolone 1 Fresilia scout group, the Altair Trail guides visitors to discover the flora and fauna of the Frosolone mountains.
An educational and immersive trail, with 48 explanatory tables and 11 signposts, enriched in 2018 with new panels dedicated to birds of prey, deer and fallow deer.
An invitation to walk, observe, and experience the nature of our territory.
GPS route with precise directions
The Bandages' Path
An ancient path used by local women to reach the nearby mountain forests to gather light shrubs used to warm the cold winters. The trail reaches a well-preserved section of Cyclopean walls, ancient city walls that testify to the settlement of the Samnite peoples.
Start: Via Sorgente, a few hundred meters from the main square, towards the mountain. Length: approximately 1.2 km from the town center. Difficulty: INTERMEDIATE (hiking gear recommended).
